Without a doubt, the best though-out harness that I have found, for cats (or small dogs) alike. Number one on my list is fit, and I got this with my ultra-fat cat in mind, hoping that we can do some trotting to improve her health. This harness fits her perfectly (see the measurement table when ordering). It did take some awkward moments of a adjustment, but now that it's set, it's perfect. No bulges, no snags, just something akin to kitty body armor! Second is location of the leash ring. I swear, on other harnesses I have that the designers were looking at the plans upside down. On this harness the loop is perfectly centered right between my cat's shoulder blades, right where it should be.The badge loop is centered on the front of the harness, not to high (might rub the chin) and not too low (might interfere with walking). It's set in the middle - the best spot. This Escape-Proof Cat Harness is very ergonomic, while keeping my cat comfortable. She can't get it off, that's for sure. Just remember to remove it after walks, as we know kitty will find a way of getting stuck on something if you let kitty out unsupervised. Lastly: the material is a combination of cloth and rubber with plastic attachments and metal rings. The cloth is soft but strong, the rubber is really just decorative, and the plastic clips seem strong. Were I to wash it, I'd just soak in some detergent water and scrub the rubber lightly with a cloth. Rinse well, and air dry. For the feeling of freedom with kind caretaking, this harness gets a big thumbs up from this cat Mom!
Overall, I’m very happy with this harness and leash set, especially the leash design. The retractable leash works well and the lock feature holds securely, even when my cat suddenly tries to dash up a tree. It gives controlled freedom without feeling unreliable.One of my favorite features is the wrist strap. I’ve dropped leashes in the past and had my cat bolt, which is incredibly stressful. Having the wrist strap makes a huge difference and gives me much more confidence during walks.I ordered the small size, and while the harness is adjustable and well made, it still runs a bit large on my cat, who is about 9 months old and 10 pounds. It would be helpful to have the measurements listed in the description. That said, the adjustable straps stay in place and do not loosen when pulled. The clips feel sturdy, and I like that there are attachment points on both the front and the back.The harness also includes a small pocket that can hold an AirTag or identification, which is a thoughtful touch. Even though the harness itself is slightly big for my cat right now, the quality and design are solid, and the leash works perfectly with his other harness as well.This is a well-designed set with practical features that actually improve safety and usability. Just be mindful of sizing if your cat is on the smaller side.
The Lucille Escape Proof Cat Harness and Leash set was just what I needed! this cat harness was such good quality. The fabric was so thick and strong. It felt very durable. The quality of the harness itself was so well-made and I just know that it was escape proof and would keep my cat safe.Easy to put your cat into and to size to your cats size, my cat had no problem wearing this harness. The harness was very soft in the inside for the cat. My cat did not escape from the harness as they were able to with other harnesses. The leash is a very good quality, thick durable fabric, easy to stick onto the harness and great to use together as a set very happy with this set for my cat.
